Keep an eye to this new Blog -- I will be building it in the weeks ahead... .

Hello to all you Fabulous Bloganistas and those of you in training... .  I had started to build this Blog but a knee replacement halted production.

I am in the process of opening another Blog dedicated to my new Online business, The Wrap of Luxury (r) -- these few pictures will give you an idea of what you will find when you visit.

Be prepared to wrap yourself in the luxury of my products!
I have a beautiful selection of Lambswool, Mohair and Pure Wool Shawls, Travel and  Stadium Blankets, Scarves and similar, all handloomed in the UK and Ireland and as time goes on,  I will be adding more that will be loomed here in the United States - ranging in price  - Blankets $125.00 - $300.00

My selection of beautiful  pure wool Sweaters, Scarves, Gloves and Tammies are top-of-the-line quality and compared to other venues, are extremely well priced and very user friendly when it comes to your wallet.
The sweaters are priced between $86.00  to $280.00 and this includes Scottish Shetland Wool Vests and Sweaters for Men and Women - plain and patterned including the Irish Aran Knit shown to the right;

Below is a sample of very stylish headwear made by Hanna Hats of Donegal Town, Ireland, and fashioned in fine Irish Tweed - suitable for gents and ladies too... .
The Woollen Caps are priced around $48.00 $70.00 and the Walking Hats are in the same price range;  I also have Irish Linen Caps (adjustable straps for size) and these are excellent for the golfers and those who live in warm all year round climates;
 I am adding a few pieces of jewelry or jewellery (depends on which side of The Pond you come from as to how you spell this word)
This design here is the Scottish Luckenbooth - the history of this name goes back to the days of Mary Queen of Scots in Edinburgh, Scotland -- up The Cannongate where the Hawkers had street stalls selling a huge variety of merchandise and at these stalls was where young men would go to find this particular brooche so that they could give it to the young lady whom they planned on proposing to and one day soon, marrying.  (lots less expensive than today's engagement rings)

When the young couple gave birth to their first born the brooche was pinned on the Christening Shawl to ward off evil spirits -- history can be so nice and romantic.  I have my Luckenbooth brooche and pinned it to the shawl for my babies -- the shawl having been made especially for me many years ago.  These brooches are nicely priced at between $35.00 and $60.00

Here we have a beautiful Sterling Silver Hallmarked pendant on a 20" chain.  She will be familiar to those of you who have read Shakespears famous story of a Midsummer's Night Dream "...there are Faeries at the bottom of my garden... ."   The detail work on this piece is beautiful.  This is the perfect gift to give to that special lady in your life or as a keepsake for the other ladies who "rate".

How about T-shirts with the Guinness logo, also sporting the countries that make-up the UK and Ireland - Clearance Prices at $28.00 Sizes: L - XXL -- once they are sold out I will not be repeating this item.

Okay, I am closing here --  I am in the throws of  building my website, slow but sure - I will be sending out emails to all of my friends to let them know when the Online Store at www.thewrapofluxury.com will be available for you, so I am inviting you to Come browse and experience my new venture as I work on the site.   If you have any questions contact me at thewrapofluxury@comcast.net  or   Tel:  724.928.0002

All the best, "Liz", Elizabeth,
