I'm back... .

Well, it's been a couple of months since I added to my Blog, lots been
happening.  I've been busy adding new products to the website.
Pewter Luckenbooth Brooch
This is a lovely Scottish Luckenbooth brooch from Art Pewter who are located in East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow, Scotland.

The quality is top-of-the-line, as are all products from Art Pewter, and this Pin comes with a history card telling of it going back to the days of Mary, Queen of Scots.
Perpetual Calendar

Every New Year's Eve we throw out our old calendar and add it to our shopping list to buy a new one, well, this Perpetual Calendar solves that problem.  I've had mine since 1987.  You'' find it in the Keltic Korner or Sales sections in www.thewrapofluxury.com

Alberlemno Stone Celtic Cross
My Dods Ancestors came from the Alberlemno area of Scotland in the South East part of the country, so this is near and dear to my heart.  I only have a few of these Stone replicas coming from other parts of the British Isles.

Well, enough for the moment, I need to get a move on and get some of the orders packed and ready to ship out to my patrons.  In the meantime, please take care and stay healthy.

Another year to add to our calendar... .

Hello to all you fabulous Bloganistas and those of you in training.  Hard to believe we have bid farewell to a year that had so many changes, especially for me, and we are now welcoming in another New Year, 2017, let's hope it is a great one.  I, myself, am hoping my online venue takes off and I can keep on adding new products to please my many Patrons.

I hope you like this lovely Red Sweater - it's stock name is "Lizzie" and is handloomed by Glenfife of Scotland in luxurious 100% Pure Shetland Wool - it has an all over pattern and is hand washable - we have 2 Large (40"/102cm.) and 2 Medium (38"/96cm.) - these sweaters are very friendly to your Sporran and priced at $86.00.

If you are considering to add a unique piece of jewellery/jewelry, as I say, depends on what side of the Pond you hail from,  you would do well to add this lovely Pewter Pin fashioned in the World famous Claddagh (history card comes with it) and the heart is set with authentic Irish Connemara Marble.  The luck of the Irish is with you here, it is pleasingly priced at $38.00 - the fastener has a safety closure.  This lovely piece you could keep for yourself or give as a gift to someone special in your life, it will most certainly be well received.

These are a couple of items you can admire here or you    can go in to my online store and see all the other fine products that are awaiting you.  So, without much further ado, let me get this new Blog out there for all to see.
I do not have the mega bucks to get listed on the Google, Yahoo and the other social media Totem Poles, so I am relying on those of you who follow my Blog to pass the word and tell everyone that whatever you like and purchase at my store, you have my guarantee that all products are authentic and manufactured in the UK, Ireland and also the USA.

So, please Come browse and experience... .

Gems for you to enjoy... .

I've been busy adding new products to my website at www.thewrapofluxury.com - this morning I added pendants and brooches - here's some pictures that I hope you will like.
Heathergems are unique to Scotland and are a patented product
from the Charles Buyers Company whose factory is located in Pitlochry in the central Highlands.
These pieces I will be posting, are some of the pieces they no longer make - since Mr. Charles Buyers, Sr., passed away, the company is getting in to more modern styles.  So, if you want to own a piece of history, these are the pieces for you.
Here we have a close-up of the famous Luckenbooth that originated in the days of Mary Queen of Scots up the Cannongate in Edinburgh and it, along with my other Luckenbooth pieces, comes with a history story card.
The cuff links are a straight cut gem
and will be perfect for the person, male or female, who still appreciates "style" - you can also view the other range of cuff links that I have on the site.  These Heathergems pieces are limited in quantity and are all listed at reduces prices in the Sales section of the website.
I hope you like what you see here and will take time to visit the site and again, I will invite you to

The next update on products... .

In my last Blog I told you that I had launched my new website, www.thewrapofluxury.com - a lot has been happening over the past couple of weeks, and it is only the beginning.  I have been in touch with a few of my former suppliers in the UK and Ireland, including a couple of manufacturers here in the States - some of the people with whom I dealt were still around and remember me and my former bricks and mortar business A British Accent that was initially started in August 1987 in Wexford, Pennsylvania,  15 miles North of Pittsburgh.
Since then, a lot has happened, however, the quality of the products and service remain the same.
Ireland - Erin go Bragh

The t-shirts I have are manufactured here in the States and they celebrate Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.  They are made of an excellent quality cotton that is also Made in the USA, you see, I only offer top-of-the-line products to my Patrons.   I also have a really nice line of T-shirts with the World famous Guinness logo on them in English and also Irish Gaelic.
A glass of Guinness as seen at night... .
There will be more designs coming in the Blogs ahead, along with a fine selection of sweaters, blankets and sterling silver jewellery (or jewelry, depending on what side of the Pond you are from), but this Blog is to show you a few of the Guinness T-shirts that I know you will want to have.  They are priced at $30.00 for the Large and X-Large sizes  - some of them come in XX-Large and are around $34.00.  These shirts wash really well and can be damp-dried in the dryer and touched-up, if needed, with a medium heat iron, just make sure you turn it inside-out to press and don't linger or lean too heavy over the transfer.

Guinness St. James's Gate Logo (English Version)
Here's another one with the St. James's Gate logo just to give you an idea.
I will be adding more of these T-shirts in the
coming days with the various Guinness logos, e.g., the Seal and the Trainer, the one with the Lion and also the Toucan sitting on the weather vane -and these will be on a light Beige shirt.

So, in the meantime, why now visit me on Facebook or log on to the website and, as I said, Come browse and experience what The Wrap of Luxury has to offer.

Cheerio for now, and Thank you for visiting with me,  All the best, Elizabeth

Going, Going, Gone and done it... .

Hello to all you fabulous Bloganistas and those of you in training,

This is going to be a short Blog as I want to get this out there and on to Facebook.

Well, I've finally done it,  15 minutes ago at 1:45p.m. Eastern USA Standard Time,  I took the plunge, clicked the button and The Wrap of Luxury (r) is now alive and just waiting for those hoarding throngs to come browse and experience what I have to offer, online... .

Can hardly believe it, but I was a wee bit nervous in working up to clicking the button -- usually when I click buttons on the computer it creates trouble, but I know this is going to be a good kind of trouble.
I have a small selection of Highland Sporrans (men's purses) after all Kilts don't have pockets,  they come with a leather strap - I heard that some women in Scotland are actually using Sporrans as "Fanny Packs" to each her own... .

When you take a browse through the Shop you'll see that I am accepting all major credit cards, Pay Pal and also an app for your  Apple 'phone or Tablet and you can actually buy and pay for it with your Thumbprint, on your device.  There also is a page telling you all about how I got started and a Contact Us page where you can send your email address for me to add to my list of patrons; and, one other point I want to tell you about, the site is a Secure Site and all personal information will be confidential.

As time goes on,  I will be adding more products and also getting a Facebook page dedicated to the Shop - each month there will be specials all at nicely reduced prices, so, for the time being let me say cheerio, toodle pips, au revoir, ta ra and all that jazz -

Going live... .

James Sadler of England
Okay, the time has finally come that all you fabulous Bloganistas and those of you in training have been waiting for.  On Tuesday 25th October, I am biting the bullet and going live, so to speak.  I have a small selection of beautiful English Bone China teapots - the average price will be around $48.00 - I'll be adding to the Pottery section as time goes on.
Guinness T-Shirts

I'll also be listing my great selection of Guinness T-shirts, showing the famous Toucan, (thank goodness for spell check) the Seal Trainer and a few more famous designs,  along with the Black
T-shirts with the Guinness Label in English and also Irish Gaelic.  The quality is terrific and the shirts are machine washable and you can toss them in the
Handmade Horn-ware Brooches
dryer too. You need to keep an eye for the Guinness By Night shirt - at first it caused me some confusion, you'll see. The sizes are L, XL and cost around $28.00 and the XXL size is $30.00. There will also be a nice selection of     Scottish, Irish, English and Welsh shirts priced the same.

Last but not least, for the time being, I have a limited number of these great wee Scotties hand carved by Scottish Artisans and are fashioned out of Horn-ware - this is a very old, popular material, used in Scottish jewellery.  Although the doggies all look alike, they are different due to the colours in the horns - the pin fasteners have a safety clip on them - these wee fellas are priced at  $30.00.

Okay, time to get busy with a few last minute things I have to do with the website and we are good to go, yeah!!!  So until then, cheerio, toodle pips, au revoir, ta ra and all that jazz.  Elizabeth
